Prudence

Ever since moving back on my own I have been spending a lot of time with my wonderful dog Prudence. I just couldn't ask for a better dog. Here are some cute pictures (sorry taken with my camera phone - still need to go buy a new camera) of my baby girl:

ShoeDazzle

OMG! I have just became part of a shoe society club started by Kim Kardashian. The company is called ShoeDazzle! It's only $39.00 a month and they provide with you with a shoe a month. These shoes tailor to your personality and wants/needs (You answer a bunch of questions before joining). And if that particular month you are not in the mood to get new shoes...you can just skip that month!

Yes...I am obsessed with shoes! So this is a great way for me to get unique, nice looking shoes whenever I want. Plus I do not have to leave the comfort of my own home!

Here is my first pair of shoes. They are called 'Gemma.'

And...Me in my new shoes!!! Zesty!!!

Bake Attempt 3

Okay, okay, okay...I wanted to bake cupcakes one more time. This time I used yellow cake mix (just like last time) but have chocolate and vanilla frosting on top. They turned out just as wonderful as my last batch!

Here are a few pictures (once again...sorry it was taken on my camera phone - must buy new camera soon!):

Way To Happy!

Okay a few weeks ago I was shopping for a new dining room table. I searched and searched to find something small, elegant and within my price range. Then I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and found this...

I finally have a dining room table to eat on...instead of eating on the couch using my coffee table as my table! LOL!

Bake Attempt 2

I have been dying to make some cupcakes the past few weeks. I love love love cupcakes! So I decided to take plain yellow cake mix and spice it up a bit. After mixing plain yellow cake mix I separated the mix into four bowls. I color dyed each bowl...red, blue, yellow, and green! Then I frosted the cupcakes with vanilla frosting and sprinked my favorite spinkles ontop! They turned out wonderful!

Here are a few pictures of my work (sorry it was taken on a camera phone):

Seven Things (Yup...bored at work!)

Directions: Write seven things about yourself (things people may not know about you).

1.) I have tried online dating.

2.) If I could go anywhere in the world on vacation I would choose...Italy! Being Italian and loving the whole culture; this is definitely my number one place to see and experience!

3.) I love to buy shoes and wear cute heels when I go out, but the second I'm home, I kick off my shoes and walk around barefoot. I never put on shoes unless I absolutely have to... in fact I'm sitting at my desk with my shoes kicked off right now. I keep them under my desk so I can slip them on quickly if anyone walks in my office.

4.) I spoil my dog too much that she is a brat now. People do not like to come over because she jumps on them, gets on the couch, and well is a bit too hyper. But I do not mind because the past few years have been pretty up and down for me. Prudence has always been there for me to lend her fur for me to hug or cry on!

5.) My dream job is to own my own Wedding Planning and Design firm (full-time).

6.) I am crazy (and when I mean crazy...I am obsessed) with the color Pink!

7.) I am addicted to Red Bull. I drink at least two a day! (A habit I am trying to break now...lol).

A Few Quotes I Found (to be very true to me):

"If you want something bad enough…set it free. If it comes back to you it is yours forever. If it doesn’t then it was never yours to begin with." - Anonymous

"Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel there is something special in them. Look at the sunny side of everything. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give everyone a smile. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others. Be too big for worry and too noble for anger." -Christian D. Larsen (thanks Christina N. for this quote!)

“One of the greatest titles we can have is ‘old friend.’ We never appreciate how important old friends are until we are older. The problem is we need to start our old friendships when we are young. We then have to nurture and grow those friendships over our middle age when a busy life and changing geographies can cause to neglect those friends. Today is the day to invest in those people we hope will call us ‘old friend’ in the years to come.” - Grant Fairley

Father's Day Weekend

This Father's Day our family wanted to something different, something that included the family getting together and doing something FUN. We started off thinking Six Flags would be great but then realized a day at Hurricane Harbor would be a blast! Sure enough Mom, Dad, Steph, Eric and me went and enjoyed every last second in the sun and water!
Here are some pictures:

I love this picture (below) my mom strangling daddy...so cute!

Storm

Wow, that storm was pretty crazy last night. Caleb and I watch the storm start to form a funnel over our apartment and then watched on the balcony (with Prue) while it passed on through. It was a pretty neat sight but overall pretty freaky. However, once everything was done...we saw this:

Bake Attempt 1

This weekend I was pretty bored. I really wanted to get back in my kitchen and start baking again. So I started...easy. I got this recipe off Bakerella.

Cookie Fudge Brownies

1 pkg Cookie Dough
1 pkg Fudge Brownie Mix

Followed the instructions of the brownie mix. Pull bits and pieces (can be any size) sporadically drop into brownie mix. Heat. Once cooled down...pour the wonderful fudge on top!

Let's just say...not only did I have a few too many pieces but Caleb I swear had half the pan! They were really good especially with some milk afterwards!

Taste of Addison

This past weekend Caleb and I went to Taste of Addison with Stephanie and Eric. We enjoyed eating, drinking, talking, listening to music, shopping, and riding a few carnival rides. It was so much fun spending time with them!

Here are a few pictures of the fun:

Update

Now that I have been fully moved into my new place in Lewisville for a month the 'feeling like home' is starting to settle in. I absolutely love Lewisville. There is so much to do...shopping, eating out, shopping, bars, and did I mention shopping (LOL, seriously does not help my bad habit of shopping, living in Lewisville). Along side what I live around, I love my apartment. It is small and quiet. The layout is wonderful and being on the third floor looking over a creek is great! Even my Prudence loves the balcony...she probably would spend hours on that thing if I allowed her too.

Here is a cute picture of her 'just chilling' on the balcony:

Both of my jobs are still going strong and great!

I am coming up on three years at full-time job. It is really crazy that I have been here this long. I never been at a company longer than a year and half. So seeing that I am still loving it as I did when I first started is a great sign!

Then working at wedding chapel has really opened to my eyes to what I love to do plus what I am 'gifted' to do. Not only am I working as a Wedding Coordinator, I have been helping out the owner with doing tours of our facility for new Bride and Groom's to use. Being able to connect with these new clients and show them our facility is so rewarding. Because I remember what it was like to plan a wedding and trying to figure out the best option and best deal. To be able to answer all their questions and be there for them during one of the most important times in their life, is a blessing!

Last but not least...my boyfriend, Caleb. I always heard from so many people that when you are in love, you just know. A true manifestation of love is found in the level of commitment, trust, physical and emotional intimacy, and mutual attachment that you enjoy with your partner. Honestly, Caleb and I have this and both want to work on maintaining this! Caleb is a genuine nice, sweet, caring guy that has the same goals and wants in life as me. Plus he is a keeper...he loves to get me flowers (LOL):

Growing Up

All of us want to grow up more and more as the years go on. We want to experience different aspects of life. By going through good times, happy encounters, tough events, or rough patches is what makes us who we are. Everyone is different in their personalities and traits than the next person. Example: some of us are better listeners because we went through a lot of instants where we needed to be a listener for someone who was in pain.

However, people are always going to be insecure about themselves. They will project that onto you in the form of jealousy, resentment, hatred, or whatever the case maybe, to fulfill their ‘self’ respect. But as the years go on you realize more about yourself and your surroundings. You learn how to control those insecurities and project a more positive mannerisms.

I have realized there are two types of people I want in my life. They are my close family and positive people. A few years back if you told me that in a few years I would be closer to my parents than ever before, I probably would have laughed in your face. But, today, I can honestly say…they are my support system, they are the ONLY ones that understand who I am and what I want to achieve in my life. Both of them do everything in their power to make sure they are always there for me in every way possible. However, it is really hard, now a day, to find someone that is truly positive with life in general. But those very few people in my life that are that way I can honestly say are my good friends. They are people that know what is right from wrong, good and bad. And, they, like me, want to have a successful, positive, Christian life.

I hope everyone that reads this really looks at their surroundings because we are living in a world full of ‘Me’ people. If we just take a step back and see ourselves or others being in a negative way...we need to start reevaluating.

Stina's Trip/My Vacation

Friday April 17th we hung out with my sister Stephanie and her boyfriend Eric. We played pool, WII, and drank a bit.

Then on Saturday April 18th we hung out at my parents house. We watched the Mavs beat the Spurs, ate pizza and drank.

Sunday April 19th our family headed to Lone Star Park (Horse Races). We all piled in my Dad's car (a Vibe). Literlly we piled in this car. We had four in the back seat...Eric, Stephanie, Stina, and me. It was tight but it sure was a good time! At the races we all were up and down with the beating. We would win a little, lose a little but I think the only person that really came out on top is Stephanie! Here are some pictures from the wonderful event!

On Monday April 20th Christina and I went to Downtown Fort Worth and The Stockyards. We did a bit of shopping, exploring, and photo taking! It was neat to see things I really haven't seen since I moved here 14 years ago! Here are some pictures of our time!

Stina had to eat at Cristina's Mexican Restaurant when she was down here. So after a long day of 'touring' we went to eat at Cristina's.

Lastly on Monday evening we picked up our friend Flood at the airport and then went out to Rack Daddy's to have a 'few' drinks (He he). We played pool and darts for the rest of the evening. We had tons of fun!

All Moved

This past weekend I moved from Plano/Dallas area to Lewisville, Texas. Lewisville is a different area than what I am use to. It has more restaurants, a bit older town, and pretty busy at times. But my overall choice for moving to this area was two different reasons. I needed a fresh new start and I wanted to be closer to the chapel (Special Moments).

My apartment is on the third floor by a creek. I must say this is probably one of my favorite apartments I have ever had. The 9 foot ceilings, the beatiful scenery, and just the layout of this floorplan is great! So far I am pretty happy with my move and my choice!

My Life, Fresh Start!

A few weekends ago Caleb and I went out for drinks at Flying Saucer with Stephanie, Eric (Stephanies boyfriend), Eric and Michelle (Caleb's married friends). We had a blast...enough though we got a little bit tipsy! Here are a few pictures that Stephanie set.

Caleb and I are soo cute together! I love him!!!

Stephanie and I are so pretty!

American Airline Center

The past two nights I had the enjoyment of going to the American Airline Center for two very different special events.

On March 31, 2009 Stephanie and I went to see Britney Spears Circus tour. We had a wonderful time together. The show was very different and very much a Britney show. Photos of the event (yes we are weird):

Then on April 1, 2009 Caleb and I went to the Mavs Game. This was a special game for us because not only were the seats unbelievable but it was our first sporting event game together! The game was a blast...and we won by 2 POINTS! Here are some of the pictures from the event.
